Ashley was born prematurely and weighed in at 2 lbs, 8 ounces. Her time in the ICU was for a whole month. Parents were informed that her heart was going to need surgery on Christmas Day. Christmas Day brought answers to the prayers of her parents when doctors advised her parents she was born with an open heart. Ashley did not need any procedure. She was released to go to her home in the weight range of 4 1/2 pounds after being hospitalized two months. The girl is now in good health. Her father is German-English. The family of her mother is from Ireland. Her acting debut was made in the 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll advertisement. Ashley was then scouted at 8 years old by the Ford Modeling Agency. She worked steadily in print and remains with the Agency. At the age of 10 She decided acting was the way she would like to go. Ashley was in the cast of 35 commercials. Then, she moved onto theatrical roles. Ashley became a full-time acting. Ashley concentrated all of her energy to acting. This left little time for modeling and dancing. Ashley's most recent appearance is "Hanna Marin" in ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars (2010). Ashley also had a cameo on Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) and Solange's music video for her song "True the Love". She did a photo shoot together with Britney Spears for Vogue Magazine. She appears in the video for "That Girl" by NLT.
